Do you charge for estimates?+
No. Written estimates for lawns, planting, hardscape and commercial grounds are always free, we visit, measure, talk through layout and plantings, and email you a clear, itemized quote with no obligation.
How soon can you start?+
Most estimates go out within a day, and typical projects are scheduled within one to two weeks. For urgent replants, before a move, a sale or an event, just tell us the date and we'll do our best to fit you in.
What does "free estimates" mean?+
Before any work begins, we give you one clear quote to approve, prep, materials and labor included. No hourly meter, no surprise add-ons at the end. You always decide before we start.
When is the best season to plant?+
Fall and early spring are prime in Portland, roots establish in the wet months so beds hit summer already settled. We plan the install date around your plant list.
What if I only want part of the yard done?+
Phasing is normal. The plan covers the whole picture once, then we build it in stages that match your budget, each phase stands on its own.
Will it survive without much care?+
That is a design choice, tell us honestly how much time you want to spend, and we choose plants and spacing to match. Low-care does not have to look empty.
